You couldn’t even imagine the adventure these two had to go through in order to bring their Joshua Tree National Park wedding to life. After replanning an entire wedding while in grad school AND living out of state, these two were for all intents and purposes “wedding-ed out”. That didn’t stop them from having a wedding day special to them in a bucket list location they’d always dreamt of exploring.
You see when life gives you lemons, you’ve got to make lemonade. In under a year they took their venue wedding and turned it into an intimate outdoor adventure in one of the coolest Southern California national parks. Joshua Tree had always been on their bucket list and quickly became the ideal location for their intimate wedding because it brought their love for the desert into one of the most special memories for them. They both said that they are excited to go back again on anniversaries to come so they can visit the ceremony site and explore the park a little more.
As a photographer, it truly fills me with joy to see couples choose to make lemonade out of lemons. No wedding is perfect and if the pandemic taught me anything it’s that when planning a wedding you have to let what will be, be. The happiest weddings are the ones where you roll with the punches and enjoy the lemonade. That’s what these two did and I bet they’ll remember this wild adventure with a smile for years to come.
Enjoy a taste of their Joshua Tree national park intimate wedding.
