A beautiful combination of the new and the old made for a spectacular summer, garden wedding at Gerry Ranch in Camarillo, CA. Taylor and Theo loved that this venue didn't need a lot of adornment to be breathtaking. They opted for a sage and white color palette that would compliment the natural beauty. Taylor wore a reimagined version of her mom's wedding dress and jewelry made by her mom. This was just one of many little sentimental touches.

getting married at Gerry Ranch

Since this venue features a bridal getting ready space, ceremony and reception all in one location you can expect a smooth, stress free timeline from morning to night. It is important to note that the groom will need to get ready off-site, but there are many options within 15 minutes of the venue. Whether you want to go more rustic or lean into elevated garden party, this space is very adaptable to your vision.

This venue includes the entire venue, but nothing else. You'll need to source your own photo, video, floral, rentals, catering and DJ. This really allows you to create whatever day you'd like.

wedding photography aT GERRY RANCH

Gerry Ranch has a few quirks to note for lighting throughout the day. The getting ready space is quite tight for larger bridal parties and doesn't have the best lighting. If weather permits, I recommend grabbing your getting ready portraits with the double doors open, allowing natural light to flood in. If you have more than 6 people getting ready with you, I recommend finding a larger space to get ready in earlier and simply getting into the dress at the venue. First looks and wedding party portraits can be done in the cocktail or ceremony locations prior to the ceremony starting. At the perfect golden hour time, someone on staff will take us on a golf cart to the upper vineyards/orchards if you want photos with the blueberries and lemons. The Gerry Ranch team is fabulous at accommodating whatever timeline pacing you want for you day and we will talk through all the lighting quirks when we build your photo timeline prior to the wedding.
